Job Title: 3PL Operations Analyst
Location: Lagos / On Site
Responsibilities
- Create detailed status and monthly reports for management to provide insight into key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the order fulfillment process.
- Work closely with the warehouse, transportation, and inventory teams to develop and maintain efficient workflows.
- Assist in inventory planning and stock control systems to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
- Monitor real-time inventory and ensure accurate and timely stock updates.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure that standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to safety, health, and environmental practices.
- Develop and maintain expert product knowledge to answer all inquiries related to the product efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service and professionally interact with customers both in person and over the phone.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and acknowledge and resolve customer complaints.
- Provide pricing and delivery information to customers.
- Communicate and coordinate with colleagues as necessary to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure real-time status updates of client requests and prepare daily turnover reports for the upcoming shift and management on the status of daily tasks
- Arrange deliveries for riders and ensure timely coordination with logistics partners/riders.
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
- Responsible for inputting data at the end of every working day to ensure records are up-to-date.
- Ensure daily checks of delivered orders correspond with sales made and that products brought at the end of the day tally with sales.
- Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls effectively.
- Send COD (Cash on delivery) to clients after a day's work.
- Update status and prepare monthly reports as necessary, providing insights into operational performance and trends.
- Use computers, various mobile devices, and Microsoft Office applications comfortably, including navigating web pages and apps.
- Be open to flexible work hours, including periodic early morning starts, late nights, and weekend work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience (2-3 years) as an Operations Analyst or similar role in a fulfillment, logistics, or e-commerce environment.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or specialized operations software.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Experience with fulfillment center technologies such as robotics, automated sorting systems, and real-time tracking.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
- Experience in e-commerce or retail fulfillment is a plus.
