Lagos State Government 2016 Recruitment For Lagos Television (LTV)

The Ministry of Information and Strategy of  Lagos State Government  hereby invites application from suitably qualified candidates into the vacant job positions at The Lagos Television (LTV) for the 2016 recruitment. The Lagos Television (LTV) is currently recruiting to fill up the following job positions:



A)Job Position: News Correspondent/Reporter
Location: Lagos
Job Type: Permanent
Job Requirements(Education and Experience) 
  • Candidates must possess a Degree in Mass Communication or Journalism, Higher National Diploma in Journalism, with over 7 years in practice.
  • Candidates must be able to work as correspondents in different beats.
  • In addition to the above criteria, all candidates must possess strong work ethics, desire to work in a result driven environment and must have completed the Compulsory National Youth Service Scheme (NYSC).

B)Job Position: News Editors/News Video Editor
Location: Lagos
Job Type: Permanent
Job Requirements(Education and Experience) 
  • Candidate must possess a Degree in Mass communication/Journalism with a minimum of 10 years post Qualification experience in Television News editing/Video editing/directing and production.
  • Candidates must be able to work as correspondents in different beats.
  • In addition to the above criteria, all candidates must possess strong work ethics, desire to work in a result driven environment and must have completed the Compulsory National Youth Service Scheme (NYSC).

C)Job Position: ENG Camera Operator
Location: Lagos
Job Type: Permanent
Job Requirements(Education and Experience) 
  • Candidate must possess a Degree and certification in Electronics News Gathering (ENG).
  • Candidate must have Eye for aesthetics, Graphic visual sequence and ability to identify news.
  • He/she must have a good mastery of the use of ENG/Camera.
  • Candidates must be able to work as correspondents in different beats.
  • In addition to the above criteria, all candidates must possess strong work ethics, desire to work in a result driven environment and must have completed the Compulsory National Youth Service Scheme (NYSC).

D)Job Position: Chief Technical Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Position: Permanent
Job Requirements(Education and Experience) 
  • Candidate must possess a Degree in Broadcast Engineering, Broadcast Technology/ Electrical/Electronic or Computer Science, Multimedia, ENG etc with at least 7 years experience in Television Broadcast, of which 5 years must be at management level. Candidate will coordinate on Air, OB Van activities and relevant IT support services.
  • Candidates must be able to work as correspondents in different beats.
  • In addition to the above criteria, all candidates must possess strong work ethics, desire to work in a result driven environment and must have completed the Compulsory National Youth Service Scheme (NYSC).

E)Job Position: Director of Production Services
Location: Lagos
Job Type: Permanent
Job Requirements(Education and Experience) 
  • A Degree in Mass Communication/Communication Arts/Journalism
  • Candidate must be versed in Digital Designs, Graphic Arts with at least 15 years cognate experience in Television production, 5 of which must be at Management level.
  • Candidates must be able to work as correspondents in different beats.
  • In addition to the above criteria, all candidates must possess strong work ethics, desire to work in a result driven environment and must have completed the Compulsory National Youth Service Scheme (NYSC).

F)Job Title: Director of Engineering Services
Location: Lagos
Job Type: Permanent
Job Requirements(Education and Experience) 
  • Candidate must possess a Degree in: (i) Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 15 years' post qualification experience.
  • (ii) Candidate must be COREN Certified with other professional bodies' certification.
  • Candidates must be able to work as correspondents in different beats.
  • In addition to the above criteria, all candidates must possess strong work ethics, desire to work in a result driven environment and must have completed the Compulsory National Youth Service Scheme (NYSC).
