Vacancies at Chartered Institute of Certified Secretaries and Reporters

The Institute of Certified Secretaries & Reporters was founded in March 1981 and incorporated under Nigerian Companies and Allied Matters (CAM) Act 1 of 1990 with the consent of the Attorney-General of the Federation in 1994 as a non-profit making professional body limited by guarantee. In the quest to obtain added legal impetus to be able to carry out the functions of setting  standard  and regulating the  practice of the profession, the Institute, with the support of  the  Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation as National Patron and Supervisory Office, submitted request for an Act of the National Assembly in  October 2000.
The two chambers of the National Assembly, after all due processes and rigorous legislative procedures, successfully passed the Bill and harmonized versions in February 2007 to enact the Act that established the Chartered Institute of Certified Secretaries & Reporters. The Institute is responsible for regulating Office Technology and Management studies and professional practice in Nigeria.
Chartered Institute of Certified Secretaries and Reporters is recruiting to fill the following vacant job positions below:
     A)     Job Position: Admin Assistant
Location: Lagos
Requirements
Candidate with National Diploma must be computer literate with two years work experience in clerical duties

     B)      Job Position: Confidential Secretary (2)
Location: Lagos
Requirements for the Position
Candidate for the above position must possess good first Degree or equivalent in relevant fields of Business or Public Administration, Management, Social Sciences, Law, Accountancy, Communication or Information/Library Science.
Membership qualification of relevant professional body will be of advantage.
Work experience of 3 -5 years required
Applicants should not be above 35 years at the time of application.
120/60wam Shorthand and Keyboarding proficiency essential

    C)      Job Position: Accounts/Admin Officer
Location: Lagos
Requirements for the Position
Candidate for the above position must possess good first Degree or equivalent in relevant fields of Business or Public Administration, Management, Social Sciences, Law, Accountancy, Communication or Information/Library Science.
Membership qualification of relevant professional body will be of advantage.
Work experience of 3 -5 years required
Applicants should not be above 35 years at the time of application.


    D)     Job Position: Assistant Manager (Membership Service)
Location: Lagos
Requirements for the Position
Candidate for the above position must possess good first Degree or equivalent in relevant fields of Business or Public Administration, Management, Social Sciences, Law, Accountancy, Communication or Information/Library Science.
Membership qualification of relevant professional body will be of advantage.
Work experience of 3 -5 years required

    E)      Job Position: Corporate Service Officer
Location: Lagos

    F)      Job Position: Examination/Education Officer

    G)     Job Position: Registrar/CEO
Location: Lagos
Requirements for the Position
An articulate, knowledgeable institutional leader with imagination to drive development strategy and implement Board policies and programmes in day to day administration of the Institute.
Candidates with B.Sc/HND or equivalent in Business or Public Administration, Management, Social Science or Law, must attain chartered status not below the grade of Associate of the Institute.
Possession of postgraduate qualification and other professional backgrounds would be an advantage.
Minimum of 15 years experience in strategic management, at least 5 years mustbe on similar position.


   H)     Job Position: Assistant Registrar
Location: Lagos
Job Description
To assist the Registrar/CEO in the day to day administration of the Institute, understudy the Registrar and perform duties assigned by the Governing Board.
Requirements for the Position
Candidates with B.Sc/HND or equivalent in Business or Public Administration, Management, Social Science or Law, must attain chartered status not below the grade of Associate of the Institute.
Possession of postgraduate qualification and other professional backgrounds would be an advantage.
Minimum of 10 years cognate experience with at least 3 years in similar position.
