Job Position:Document Control specialist
Qualifications

Description
1.Monitor quality of documents.
2.Manage document processing.
3.Producing document listings.
4.Set up and manage project filing systems in all project
locations including working at Project Sites.
5.Team up with other documentation groups for controlled
information exchanges.
6.Maintain files and control logs as required by the
project.
7.Maintain the documents and drawings in the Document
Control office under safe custody without any damage or deterioration with easy
traceability.
8. Manage incoming and outgoing document flow
Main Job Functions
Coordinate all activities related to Document Control
processes including technical documents, drawings, and commercial
correspondence.
Input document data into standard registers ensuring that
the information is accurate and up to date.
Generate various document control reports as required.
Be on Site to manage project documentation, type Site
documents, follow up with Site needs
Ensure controlled copies of latest approved documents and
drawings are provided to appropriate staff, subcontractors and suppliers as
applicable
Maintain updated records of approved documents and drawings
and their distribution clearly
Maintain documents and drawings under safe custody without
any damage or deterioration with easy traceability.
Qualifications
Degree or a Higher National Diploma in relevant subject such
as B.SC English, Sciences or Humanities.
A business qualifications such as MBA, CMS, and DMS is an
advantage.
Extensive knowledge in MS Office, including MS Excel, MS
Word and MS Outlook.
Minimum 5 years related work experience in DCC with
knowledge of Engineering disciplines such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical,
etc.
Must have work as DCC at a construction Site
