Bradfield Consulting- Our client, a Top Tier Educational
Institution is expanding and seeks a Provost will lead the school’s efforts to
promote and sustain a rigorous, compassionate, and learning-centered
environment that supports student success through collaborative decision making
and strategic planning.
Key responsibilities:
Assure that the school’s policies and procedures governing
academic and student issues enhance the learning environment and reflect
current needs and appropriate practices.
Participate in the school’s internal leadership
conversations to set goals and formulate strategies for achieving the goals
that arise from these conversations.
Ensures that the University's programs and faculty are of
the highest quality.
Direct the development and implementation of the school’s
academic plans and policies, and supervises the work of its Faculties,
departments, institutes, and research centers.
Authorize, directly or through a representative, all
academic appointments, salaries and leaves, and reviews faculty grievances.
Develop the school’s annual budget and long-term financial
plans and oversees the creation of strong administrative services to support
the school’s academic activities.
Oversee academic programs and curriculum development to
ensure that the school remains current and viable in the educational community.
Create an inclusive environment and ensure a diverse and
representative population through recruitment, enrollment, and retention of all
staff and students.
Model and champion the school’s core aim which is
development of world-class educational system.
Set direction for professional development programming for
faculty, staff, and their respective systems of support in Academic and Student
Affairs.
Ensure an overall safe, secure, and appropriate learning
environment for students and staff.

Proven working experience in curriculum development and
design.
Candidate must be an experienced, creative administrator
with demonstrated leadership skills needed to foster the academic progress and
vitality of the School.

Excellent IT skills
Education and
Experience:
Masters’ degree (M. Ed), other relevant post-graduate
degree/professional qualification will also be an advantage.
Minimum of at least 6 years at a management level preferably
& at least 3 years as a Provost and 5 years in a Supervisory role.
Have a critical understanding of the most effective
teaching, learning and behavior management strategies, including how to select
and use approaches that personalize learning to provide opportunities for all
learners to achieve their potential.
