Job Summary
The Cash Deputy Program Manager will play a key role in
implementing the PROTECT IDP response in MMC/JERE (LGAs) Borno, in
North-Eastern Nigeria and support the planning and implementation of
multi-sectoral cash transfer activities. He/she will also be responsible for
identifying program implementation modalities that enhance partnership &
coordination with government officials and local communities, internal
integration within sectors and other programs (Nutrition, WASH, FSL, NFIs,
etc.). The Cash Deputy Program Manager will work closely with the Monitoring
and Evaluation team, conduct regular field visit and provide technical support
to field based team.
The Successful
Candidate Will;
Have a minimum of bachelor's degree in FSL related studies
e.g. agro-economy, agriculture, natural resource management, anthropology, and
at least first level CALP (cash learning program).
Have a minimum of two years’ relevant working experience in
humanitarian contexts, with at least 1 year in conflict/insecure contexts.
Have excellent team, budget and project management and
representation competencies.
Have previous experience with cash transfer program.
Have excellent Microsoft office skills.
Be willing and able to be based and travel regularly within
remote areas where sevices are limited.
Have previous experience in activity reporting and managing
multi sector cash transfer programs (i.e. cash transfers or vouchers for
nutrition, FSL, WASH, NFI, etc.).
Have experience in implementing programming on behalf of
donor (i.e. USAID, ECHO, DFID, CIDA) funded activities.
Be fluent in Hausa or Kanuri.
