The Federal University Lokoja (FUL) was established in February 2011 and is located in Lokoja, Kogi State, Central Nigeria, about 160 Kilometres from Abuja the Nation’s Capital. It is a conventional University that is striving to excel in both Academic and Research activities in order to compete favourably with other Universities worldwide.

Job Title: Assistant Librarian (CONUASS 2)

Location: Lokoja, Kogi

Qualifications

To be Assistant Librarian, applicants must have obtained a good Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science/Computer Science obtained from any recognized University and must be a registered Librarian with Librarian Registration Council of Nigerian (LRCN).

In addition, applicants must be holders of Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science/Computer Science and may be from any recognized University.

Other Requirements

All Candidates must possess NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate or Certificate of Exclusion where applicable

Candidates who are awaiting results need not apply;

Computer literacy is required for this position.

Conditions of Service

Salary, allowances and other conditions of service attached to this position is the same with the approved Salary Structure for Federal Universities in Nigeria.
