We offer Sponsorship and Activation Services covering Sports, Entertainment, Music, Culture, Arts, etc. Our proprietary tools and investment in research gives us deep insights into sponsorships and engagement marketing. Our Content Management Service delivers unique content to companies looking for radio or television programs to reach their audience. We create new programs and manage existing programs to make commercial sense to clients. Our understanding of client and audience needs enables us to provide unique solutions to clients. Our Field Marketing and Retail Service provides field solutions to companies looking for merchandising, redistribution, sales force management,

Job Title: Account Director

THE ROLE:
The Account Director holds challenging and diverse responsibilities of business development, strategic account management and as a primary representative of the Agency.


The position requires for the job holder to give innovative/strategic direction to existing and new clients in the Financial Services Industry. The Account Director holds a major responsibility for new account development and management.


TECHNICAL EXPERTISE



(Strategic and Marketing Leadership)

1.     Works with clients to uncover business needs and objectives, craft appropriate strategies, and identifies/implements products to help achieve client goals.

2.     Create and interpret effective analysis to support marketing recommendations.

3.     Innovative and intuitive approach to researching key target markets and new opportunities, combined with advanced evaluation, reporting and decision-making skills with a results-driven focus.

4.     Demonstrate broad industry expertise



BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT


5.     Proactively identify prospective clients and business opportunities; prospecting new clients

6.     Closing business deals within stipulated time

7.     Oversee the BD functions and team of the Financial Services Industry

8.     Oversee branding, sponsorship, marketing, to ensure consistent and high-profile representation of Clients/our business offerings

9.     Developing proposals and making presentations to clients to land new accounts.

10.   Generating ideas and generating revenue within specified clients.

11.   Oversee the delivery of the Unit’s revenue billings



CLIENT/ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT



12.   Creating an account strategy to drive client’s business objectives

13.   Proactively identifying client’s needs and deepening existing relationship

14.   Generating ideas for new revenue generation within existing clients

15.   Monitoring client satisfaction post event/project evaluation and ensuring a high level of satisfaction

16.   Building relationships with key personnel within clients’ accounts.

17.   Build trust credibility and client referrals

18.   Develop multi-tiered agency-client relationships and ties


TEAM MANAGEMENT



19.   Developing a comprehensive training plan for the account management team –(On-the-job training)

20.   Managing and overseeing the day-to-day activities of the different account managers in the unit


TEAM WORK



21.   Working closely with other business units to expand cross selling opportunities.



COLLABORATION

Responsibility towards (includes, but is not limited to:)

Internal Stakeholders: Management & Staff of CMS.
Key Clients (Financial Services Industry): COO's, Marketing Directors, Corporate Affairs & Communications Manager and,  Product Development Manager
Key suppliers/partners: 3rd party supplier / Agencies, Public Relations Consultants and Relevant suppliers


JOB REQUIREMENT



1.     Approximately 12 – 15 years’ experience in a Marketing Communications Agency.

2.     Extensive experience of developing, maintaining and delivery on marketing, sponsorship, events, promotion strategies to meet company objectives

3.     A strong understanding of the financial services industry (Customer and market dynamics and requirements)

4.     A proven ability to oversee all marketing, media and promotional staff and activities

5.     Prior work experience in an Agency (Handling related accounts)
