Location: Lagos Mainland
Job Description:
As a new Business Development Executive. You’ll be in charge
of building a book of business by engaging new prospects and staying up-to-date
with existing customer needs. Once you’re in the door with a customer, you’ll
identify sales opportunities and use your salesmanship and negotiation skills
to make the sale. We’re expanding and seeking a new business development executive
who’s creative business oriented and open for a challenge. This is an exciting
opportunity to convert some hot lead into new sales and increase revenue as
well as increase your monthly salary.
Responsibilities would include amongst others:
• Develop full go to market strategy to win in the Supply
Chain industry with an initial focus on inland logistic This includes; size of
market, identification of key customers and competitors, sales channel
strategy, and clear understanding of competitive landscape in order to develop
strategy to win
• Present final agreed strategy to commercial partner
• Execute strategy as agreed with commercial partner based
on a client specific basis • Attend presentations and visit clients in order to
sell our services
• Develop newsletters
• Prepare weekly sales report for review by the management
team
• Key task is to develop sales strategy-execute sales
strategy-increase sales and revenue. The purpose of increasing revenue cannot
be understated.
• Converting hot leads into new sales
• Build and maintain a book of business
• Build long-term relationships with your customers
• Work in conjunction with our Operations team to ensure
prompt delivery of service and maintain our “7 days Apapa turn around” policy
Previous Experience/Qualification
• Preferably 3 years minimum in logistic/supply chain/
maritime
• BSc/HND Has a basic understanding of NCS processes and
documentation.
Basic understanding, no expert needed
• Very good sales skills. You’ll be meeting decision makers
so need to have a good understating of the services we offer and the benefits
to the client
