Job description

We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for DBN, our subsidiary based in Nigeria.

The CFO as member of the management committee is in charge of preparation, development and analysis of key Financial information to assist the organization’s management making well-informed decisions to ensure future stability, growth and profitability. In the context of the capital opening and business development, the CFO will mainly ensure proper cost control follow up on new projects and adequate financial communication to both shareholders.

 The main assignments will be :

Supervise all Financial aspects : coordinate the workload of the departments, prepare all the reports of the company for internal use (management and shareholders), prepare budgets, quarterly closings,

Supervise accounting activity : accounting department (general, customers, suppliers), follow the evolution of legislation and accounting standards

Cost control follow-up: assist operations and project managers in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, monitors the performance of worksites through monthly analyzes of their achievements

Manage the budget process (initial and quarterly forecast)

Oversee the treasury: manage common banking relationships, company's cash flow monitoring

Guarantee the proper application of taxation

In charge of the internal control and interface of the external control

Manage and develop team: able to attract and develop, delegate responsibilities, provide timely and constructive feedback.

Profile

Qualifications:

- Successful career in financial responsibilities, minimum 15 years in finance, inclusive of experience in a construction Group. At least 5 years of progressive experience as CFO / Finance Director in a multinational company.

- Master's degree in accounting or other finance-related studies

Knowledge:

- Control of Financial management processes: budget control, treasury, accounting and taxation

- Ability to work in an international group, in multi-site / multi-project

- Fluent English

- Prior experience with ERP

Know-how:

- Leadership

- Communication skills

- Sense of analysis
