Job Description
- The individual will effectively communicate client objectives across the business, as well as resolving any escalated issues and maintaining service delivery.
- He/She will also be responsible for communicating travel trends to clients and keeping them abreast of new product and innovations
- Write business plans for all current and opportunity tender business
- He/she will Play an integral role in new business pitches and hold responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new clients
- He/She will be responsible for the development and achievement of sales through the direct sales channel
- Ensure the compliance of the customers' needs and wishes as well as of their time schedule
- Also oversee and manage periodic reviews of account performance and recommend termination or further follow-up actions as necessary
- Liaise with the internal operations team to ensure optimal services to the end consumer
- Job Skills and Requirement
- A proven track record in the hospitality / tourism industry, preferably in a marketing/sales environment dealing with tour operators, product managers, travel agents
- A sound knowledge of the tourism scene
- Ability to negotiate and find solutions
- Creativity with a positive and innovative approach to challenges
- Ability to work under pressure and within a team
Educational Qualification and Experience
B.s.c in any related Degree
3-5 years in the Travel and Tours industry
