CcHUB seeks an intellectual innovation Manager who will support our ingenious projects at a hospitality-focused innovation lab in Abuja.

Job Title: Innovation Manager

Location: Abuja

As the Innovation Manager, you will be the prime interface between the HUB  and entrepreneurs, and will be responsible for managing the operations, startups, and the community at the HUB.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and implement activities that will engage the SHIL community and facilitate more collaboration.
• Coordinate internal and external events in the SHIL community.
• Manage and monitor all incoming digital and non-digital enquiries to the Lab.
• Gather up to date information on the activities and projects of the members of the community.
• Manage memberships in the co-working space.
• Vet and support the selection of ventures to join the SHIL incubation portfolio.
• Lead formation of new business and provide pre-incubation support to enable commercialization of the ventures
• Induct new entrepreneurs, create pre-incubation plans and implement them, keep track of the process and support the business development efforts of ventures.
• Deal flow generation, screening of ideas, research, working with entrepreneurs for their proposals and presenting proposals to the next level of selecting incubatees.
• Work closely with the Incubation unit at CcHUB to provide adequate support to ventures in the portfolio.
• Overall planning of the activities, resources, budgets and operations of SHIL.
• Deliver and evolve an actionable story about why the SHIL lab is a great place to build novel hospitality solutions.

Experience /Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration
• Up to 4 years experience in a business incubator, a start-up advisory or any kind of tech entrepreneurial experience.
• Expert understanding of both business and tech solutions.
• Ability to understand and speak to start-up founders needs and to recommend appropriate solutions using excellent communications and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong working knowledge of computer applications including Google applications.
