Job Title: University Librarian

Job Details

The University Librarian shall be the academic head of the University Library.

He/She shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the development of the University library system including the Main Library; College and Departmental Libraries.

Qualifications & Experience

• Candidate must possess a good honours Degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division in Library Science Masters and Doctorate Degrees in Library or Information Science or related field from a recognized University will be added advantage.
• Candidate must also have at least fifteen (15) years post- qualification, full time, cognate experience in the University or similar system, the last five of which must be in the high management position of not below the rank of a Deputy University Librarian.
• A strong proof of continuing research with appreciable evidence of scholarly publications both in quality and quantum in reputable International and National Journals is required.

 Job Title: Bursar

Job Details

The Bursar shall be the Head of the Finance Department of the University.

The candidate for this position is expected to plan, organize, direct and coordinate the operation of the financial system of the University

He/She shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day financial administration of the University.

Qualifications & Experience

• Candidate for the post must possess a good honours Degree in Accounting or related discipline from a recognized University or Tertiary Institution as well as professionally recognized Accountancy qualification, such as AGMA, ACA. CPA, ACCA, ICAN. Possession of higher degree will be an advantage.
• The candidate should have at least fifteen (15) years post honours degree and ten (10) years after the professional qualification(s). In addition, the candidate must have at least ten (10) years relevant experience in a senior management position preferably in a University or comparable institution.
• Applicants must also be computer-literate and have a working knowledge of good Accounting packages.

  Job Title: Director of Works, Services and Physical Planning

Job Details

The Director of Works, Services and Physical Planning shall be responsible to the Vice-chancellor for the planning, maintenance and rehabilitation of physical facilities and grounds of the University.

Qualifications & Experience

• A good honours degree in Civil/Structural Engineering registrable with COREN with at least fifteen (15) years post-qualification experience or Professional Masters Degree in Architecture registrable with Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARGON) with at least fifteen (15) years post-qualification experience. MBA Degree or M.Sc. in Building or Facilities Management, together with managerial experience will be an added advantage.
• Candidate must also have experience in supervising or coordinating the work of professional facility managers.
• Evidence of registration with the relevant professional bodies will be added advantage.
