Job Description

We seek a Legal & HR Lead to oversee our Legal, Company Secretarial and Human Resource duties of the Hold Co and subsidiaries. The Legal & HR Lead will be responsible for the performance of a variety of duties including, reviewing of legal agreements, managing litigations, ensuring regulatory compliance, convening AGMs and supporting HR.

Required Skills

Strong commercial/corporate law experience is required (LLB, LLM)
Excellent collaboration skills.
Drive and ability to take initiative.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Problem solving mindset with attention to details.

Qualifications and Experience

4-8 years experience in commercial or corporate law, legal or tax Consulting, legal services in investment bank.
At least 1-2 supervisory / managerial level role reviewing complex legal transaction.
Work in fast paced growth environment.
Experience in Nigerian law is mandatory, experience in other common law jurisdiction(s) will be useful.
Company secretary, compliance and governance knowledge and skills.
