Job description
- Attain growth and surpass sales target by successfully managing the sales team
- Oversees and coordinates all the teams in his department
- Perform sales trainings with new and existing sales team
- Create report on activities towards target for review by management as might be required
- Create and execute sales strategy for the company
- Attend scheduled events to promote the product and services of the company
- Create new business initiative that can drive sales
- Solicit potential buyers of policies
- Monitor the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and implement resolutions to improve weaknesses
- Possess deep knowledge of business product offering and value proposition
- Work with the HR Manager for onboading of new sales team members and ensure they receive adequate understanding of the company and its products, job expectations, goals and assignments
- Work and create different channels to meet monthly sales target.
- Set individual sales targets tracking sales goals and monitoring results as necessary
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing periodic sales quotas for LGA and regions projecting expected sales volume
- Develop field sales action plans
- Ensure achievement of divisional and personal target, aligning with company sales policies and strategies
- Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales target and KPI target are met
- Ensure targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward and individual recognition
- Develop, maintain and execute a territory plan
- Plan and coordinate training for sales team
- Liaise with the HR Manager on any employee relations issue(s)
- Perform any task(s) as may be assigned to this role.
