Job Title: Quality Control Manager

Location: Kaduna

Job Description

Responsibilities;

1. Will handle quality activities of unit 3

2. Making incoming RAW MATERIAL test reports for all the material received.

3. Making test report of all the new jobs running in the shift.

4. Keeping samples of the first run for reference.

5. Making CAPA on monthly basis.

6. Keeping a track record of complaints and daily quality testing.

7. Placing non-conforming products on hold for either grinding or management decision.

8. Daily entry of production records, batch number, and packers name for future reference.

9. Writing quality reports daily for effective communication between shift officers.

10. Attending to customer complaints.

11. Attending meetings with customers as per request.

12. Supervision of dispatch procedure to ensure adequate handling/loading of products.

13. Ensure all machine operators and packers employ GMP (good manufacturing practices) while on

the production floor

14. Preparing certificate of analysis for products to be dispatched.

15. Maintain all lab testing instruments and follow the calibration schedule.

16. Setting requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitoring

their compliance.

17. Devising and reviewing specifications for products or processes.

18. Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.

Qualifications

Requirements;

-Proven experience as quality manager for at least 5-6 years.

-Experience in the Plastic industry (PET ISBM, PET Injection, Injection Molding, Blow Molding) will be given

weightage.

-Conscientious and responsible

-A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach

-Outstanding communication skills, proficient in MS Office, ERP system

-Excellent organizational and leadership skills

-An in-depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards

-Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods

-Experience in QMS, HACCP will an added advantage

-Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)
