We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced community engagement officer to join our team of Marketing professionals.
You will be responsible for handling and managing the company's communications. You will also be responsible for increasing the brand awareness of the company. You should be able to create and engage an online community.
Furthermore, you should have experience and knowledge of creating online communities. You should also be able to track and analyze the community metrics accordingly. To be successful in this job role, you should possess extraordinary writing skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities
Planning and preparing monthly content plans.
Developing and implementing marketing and communications strategies.
Creating compelling and targeted content for the Kobo360 brand across necessary platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube, Blog/Website, Google, whatsapp etc.)
Building (grow) and managing Kobo360’s community across media platforms
Providing strategy for Kobo360’s visual storytelling unit
Responding to the client in a professional manner.
Organizing the events to increase brand awareness.
Working in collaboration with Marketing, PR, and communications team members.
Taking feedback from the community and online reviews.
Analyzing community metrics and website traffic.
Implementing community communications initiatives.
Attending workshops, conferences, and networking events.
Understanding the products and services offered by the company.
Building a strong relationship with the new clients as well as the existing ones.
Managing portfolios of community to enhance brand consistency.
Monitoring the client's social media accounts.
Staying updated with the latest developments in online marketing.
Liaising with external media houses (print, editorial, electronic, etc.) to strengthen and improve brand awareness, visibility, and program/campaign results
Managing Kobo360’s internal communication (memos, email updates to squad, etc.)
Managing external communications with stakeholders (email updates to stakeholders)
Ensuring optimization of all Kobo360’s content for global reach and visibility
Developing copies, press releases, strategy for successful campaigns run by the organization
Running targeted email campaigns, digital ads, to meet the organization’s goals
Monthly reports and assessments of strategies, outcomes, impact of media and communication strategies
Liaising with teams in the Brand Management, Media & Marketing Department to deliver on the goals for the department
Collating content and publishing Kobo360’s Annual Report
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related degree.
Proven work experience as a community engagement officer, Community Specialist, or a similar job position in the Marketing department.
Experience and knowledge in creating online communities and forums.
Demonstrate excellent ability to track and analyzing community metrics.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interpret website traffic.
Experience and understanding of social media platforms.
Knowledge and experience of online marketing as well as online channels.
Ability to meet deadlines and multitask as well.
Ability to manage time and make timely decisions.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
