Job Description
The HR Manager will work closely with stakeholders to ensure business objectives are met including but not limited to developing recruitment and selection strategies and advising on all things people-related. Drive talent acquisition and professional development initiatives, performance management, organizational design, and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities
Business Strategy
Providing guidance to senior management on organizational and developmental needs
Resolving employee issues and conducting thorough investigations where required
Advising management on HR related issues in line with statutory laws and company guidelines
Partnering with line management and employees to enhance employee engagement
Working across teams to ensure HR objectives are met
Participating in and/or leading projects focused on continuous improvement
Talent Acquisition
Driving the full spectrum of recruiting and selection activities along team leads
Creating and implementing talent acquisition strategies for leadership, mid-career, and graduate hiring
Designing and driving the adoption of consistent recruiting, interviewing and hiring practices that support a strong candidate experience
Partnering with leaders within the organization to track ongoing hiring needs of their business
Identifying and partnering with external providers as required to ensure hiring needs are met
Defining and driving the team to meet organizational goals
Training and Development
Helping the Company meet its objectives by developing & implementing high impact learning & development programs in line with business needs and priorities
Conducting organizational needs analysis and creating training calendars to ensure that all employees have the required competencies to excel in their roles
Reviewing and recommending training courses to ensure they are in line with skill gaps
Delivering training to various parts of the business and working with various stakeholders to coordinate and organize training sessions
Collating feedback of completed training to evaluate and measure results and make improvements where required
Partner with industry professionals to conduct train the trainer workshops to ensure training scalability and effectiveness
Managing the Learning & Development budget
Administration
Support the Finance Lead with payroll administration and department budget as it relates to cost-saving by
Requirements
The following are the minimum expectations for the ideal candidate:
Prior experience in a similar role and experience working in a startup environment
Prior experience using tools such as: Slack, Gsuite, ATS
Strong communication & negotiation skills
Good knowledge of HR-related metrics and leveraging data-driven insights
Solid track record of building relationships with senior stakeholders
Excellent judgment and problem-solving capabilities; as well as the ability to make thoughtful decisions
Experience driving key people, programs and processes (performance management cycles, calibration facilitation, compensation planning, executive coaching, employee relations/conflict resolution, organizational design, etc.)
Agile and able to adapt to shifting priorities

Hours Of Work
40 hours per week, usual working hours are from 9:00am - 5:00pm WAT.
There will be a requirement from time to time to start work earlier or finish later as the role
