Sales Representative at FIN

 


Foreign Investment Network (FIN) Group United Kingdom, established in 2001, is a global consulting company with an Africa regional office in Nigeria. We publish FIN Magazine, a prestigious investment magazine available in English, French, and Chinese worldwide.

 

Under limited supervision, the Sales Representative will play a crucial role in planning, implementing, and managing the integrated marketing and sales efforts for FIN Magazine programs, activities, and initiatives on a weekly target basis. The ideal candidate will report weekly on sales leads and completed deals, demonstrating a proactive and results-oriented approach.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Implement an integrated range of marketing and sales strategies aligned with the overall goals of the business.

2. Establish rapport and maintain contact with contract clients and potential clients.

3. Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and compile comprehensive lists of contacts.

4. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.

5. Conduct routine follow-ups with customers to ensure satisfaction with services received.

6. Develop and manage sales and operating budgets, regularly monitoring performance.

7. Request invoicing to be generated for clients.

8. Perform direct customer sales in key areas and maintain customer relations with major accounts.

9. Develop and initiate country projects.

10. Secure advert placements for the magazine.

11. Secure sponsorships for upcoming FN events.

12. Send a weekly report detailing activities.

13. Confirm speakers for conferences.

Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by the CEO.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

· Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals.

· Foster a cooperative environment and work collegially with peers.

· Develop and implement comprehensive marketing goals, strategies, and plans.

· Knowledge of market research and sales forecasting principles.

· Ability to develop and manage sales and operating budgets.

· Supervise and train employees, organizing and prioritizing work assignments.

· Comprehensive knowledge of marketing principles, concepts, and methodologies.

· Advanced direct sales skills.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Ability to work effectively with a diverse community.

· Skill in organizing resources, analyzing and solving problems, establishing priorities, and making evaluative judgments.

· Develop and maintain record-keeping systems and procedures.

 

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

· Proven experience in sales and marketing roles.

· Familiarity with the advertising and media industry.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
