Job Summary
The Database Administrator at 21st Century Limited will focus on the design, implementation and operations of on-premises and cloud database systems. This role requires deep understanding of database technologies especially Oracle Databases.
Job Details
- Design, Implement, and maintain Database Systems for 21CTL and its customers.
- Testing new database and data systems
- Reporting - Building Query templates for faster access to reports by end users
- DB related IT Application issues Review and Resolution
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, indexing, and optimizing database performance.
- Provide technical support for Database systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in databases.
Requirements
- A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years in a similar role handling database management systems E.g Oracle, Microsoft SQL and MySQL databases.
- Ability to work with Linux/Unix based OS Environment.
- Replication, Backup/Restore and Disaster Recovery experience with Databases
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Relevant database certifications are a plus
- Familiarity with Oracle ExaData and ExaCC infrastructure is an advantage.
