University of Lagos Microfinance Bank seeks to recruit an experienced and skilled SME Loan Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for mobilizing customers for SME loans, managing a portfolio of loans, providing excellent customer service, and achieving sales targets.
Job Title: SME Loan Officer

Responsibilities
- Mobilize customers for loans
- Evaluate and process loan applications from clients
- Conduct credit assessments and risk analyses
- Manage a portfolio of SME loans, ensuring timely repayments and minimizing defaults
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients
- Meet sales targets and contribute to team goals
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of HND/ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years proven experience in SME lending or related field
- Strong understanding of credit principles and risk management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
