Job Title: Head, Financial Control & MIS


Location: Ajah, Lagos


About Us

We are a newly established microfinance bank set to commence operations, committed to financial excellence and innovation. We seek an experienced Head, Financial Control & MIS to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and management information systems.



Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and cost control processes.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and manage financial control systems to mitigate risks.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Supervise the preparation of management reports and financial statements.
  • Ensure proper reconciliation of accounts and financial records.
  • Oversee the bank’s Management Information System (MIS) for accurate data management.


Requirements

  • Minimum of a first degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in financial control, preferably in the financial industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and risk management.
  • Excellent analytical and leadership skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, CFA) will be an added advantage.
